Late night musings
So its no secret I'm nocturnal by nature, for some reason I peak in attentiveness and random creativity from about 11-2 in the morning. Yeah, I don't know why either.
Another unexplained phenomenon- my new fixation with STARS. No, not celebrities (though my penchant for celebrity gossip tends to get nutured when I don't have classes- so clearly I need to stay in school to make sure I stay a productive citizen) but like the things in the sky that twinkle and cause people to ponder.
I first noticed it in my musical selection which consists of songs like:
"Shoot down the stars"- Gym Class Heroes
"Stellar"- Incubus
"Perfect Star"- Perfume
"At the Stars"- Better than Ezra
"Tentai Kansoku" aka "Star Gazing"- BUMP OF CHICKEN
"Hoshi wo Mezashite" aka "Aim/Shoot for the stars"- NewS
Granted, I don't just listen to things with an astral theme. I have a 1gb of music on me at all times and the star music is like 1% of it. But still, its an odd trend. I mean, I enjoyed the planetarium as much as any other kid, and I always wanted those glow in the dark stick-on stars for my room (but i never actually got them), but its not like I wanted to go to space camp. So why, this late in life I decide to foster an astral-fixation is totally beyond me.
However it is nearly 2am and unfortunately I have to finish up my lst week at the cafe so I should probably go.
In other news, I'm toying with the idea of turning this into an mp3 rotation deal of sorts (since all my posts seem to be about music and being a compulsive audiophile, it seems fitting, no?) but I think that would require more pimping than I'm used to doing for anything that deals with myself online.
Tis a thought.
