So it turns out Vancity holds all checks on my account for a week that are deposited through the drive-through. Dumbest thing ever? I think yes. Had I known this, I would have been depositing my checks at the tellers. Mind you, that's probably why they do it... some sort of conspiracy to make sure the tellers have work and don't lose their job. Who would want to talk to those grumpy old going-nowhere-with-their-lives ladies? Honestly! The drive-through is much more practical. Grrr!
.
A lot of painting has been going down lately. On the weekend I stained our back fence, today I started painting our neighbour's bathroom, tomorrow I'll be staining some railing and possible the deck at the mobile, and then later this week I'll be going back to finish my neighbour's bathroom. It's like I work at college pro again! All outdoor painting in the valley pretty much has to be done this week, because it's probably our last week of summer-like weather. And heck, who couldn't use the extra money?
.
Anyway, first thing tomorrow I'm going down to the mobile to go over colours with our contractor for fence stain. Then, on the way to Pioneer, I'm going to go by the Brick to harrass Corinne about our furniture business proposition. I went to do that today, but she wasn't there. Oh, and grocery shopping has to be done soon too, since we're out of juice and canned beverages.
.
I've been trying to listen to my body again as far as eating when hungry, and it's been going pretty well. I'm trying to sit with my inner caretaker instead of eating from mouth hunger, but if I have to lean on food then that's just the way it is, and I needn't yell at myself about it.
.
My wrists have been hurting on and off. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome? Maybe just stress from all the computing and painting.
