Leaving....for Canada~

Wow, so the day is fianlly here! I can't believe how fast this summer is going! It's sooooo sux to think that next month....is our last month of summer! AHH

Anyways, so I figured I'd update this before I went to Canada...although there not much that I have done.

So I'll start with Wednesday:

Wednesday- In the early morning, I woke up and drove my parents to Annies. I met Margaret (Dreamy's leaser) and I took Madison, and she took Dreamy and we went on a short ride up through Fai Fields and back down through the Wang's. It was pretty buggy but I was very happy with Madison for leading the entire way. We got back around 9:15ish and at 10 I took Madison out again, with Alex and Lori. We rode over to the Kennels and hahah we got a mini jumping lesson! Lots of fun I must say! We did a grid which Madison hadn't done in god knows how many years. Anyways, a pretty good day.

Thursday - In the AM I had a lesson with Alex over @ the Kennels with Lori+Kali. It was SOOO much fun! We were working on bits of dressage, but then we started jumping which was loads of fun. We started out by going over this "ditch" that Fritz liked to trott through...but hey, as long as he goes it over in any which way or form, it doesn't matter. Then she put it up to a small x-rail and then we started doing the grid, which was: A gait, 2 strides, to a cross rail, 2 strides to a verticle. The first time Fritz did it he was perfect. After the 3rd of so time of doing it, he started to rush. Alex had me try to stop him in the  complex. The first time we went all the way through it, but the next time he began to slow. By the end, I was able to make him trott though the entire thing! Then we did a small course which was the grid, around a small spread, a sharp turn to our ditch, up over the stonewall, and around through the scary brush. Fritz and Kali were amazzzing. I can't wait for Valinor. After the lesson, I headed the poor sweaty beast back to Bluestone and hosed him off....of course he rolled in mud right after. Then I went back with Lori and me and Sammy and Elise did sooo many jobs with her haha. We were starving by the end, so we stopped @ Isabella's to get sandwiches. Very yummy place indeed. That night, i had to stop and do turn-in, but since I was early I gave Dreamy a bath, which she really needed. I didn't have any of my good shampoo or anything since it was all @ Bluestone. After turn-in, I drove my mother to Lori's house. On 109...I went 45 mph! Fastest speed yet haha. Lots of fun though. At Lori's me and Sammy continued our tradition of bathing all the dogs! We made sure though, that we got all the soap outta them haha. We attempted to get Von into the tub, but we wern't veru succesful. Something about a dog, a little under the size of a great dane, and weighs a lot lol...That night we ordered from this seafood place, of course I got chicken fingers. They were pretty good.

Friday Am - Did more jobs w/ Lori and then got dropped off @ the barn. I took Fritz out in his dressage tack, hoping to do some work, even though he worked really hard Thursday. I walked over to Alex's barn and she was just getting ready to take her new young baby horse out, so I decided I would accompany her. We went up to Channing Pond and back. Lots of good times. When I got to Bluestone, I did a lot of cleaning type stuff and then my mother picked me up and my day of chores began:
  1. Drove to Dylans to get lunch (haha food, is number 1)
  2. Drove to the Medfield Post-Office to mail some Duett stuff.
  3. Drove to Annies to pick up more grain for Fritz
  4. Went to Bluestone, refilled Fritz's grain + hay, made more supplements, and put a new Lik-It in his stall
  5. Went to the Needham post-office and stopped the mail for a week
  6. Went to the Dry Cleaners to pick up my mothers stuff
  7. Went to CVS to pick up some drugs :-)
  8. Went to Marshalls because I needed another pair of jeans and shoes..Of course I ended up getting more
  9. Came home and took a badly needed shower
  10. Read 4 chapters of my Summer reading book: The perfect storm
  11. Cleaned and organized the entire fridge (took me about 50 mins)
  12. Cleaned my room
  13. Cleaned out the kitchen pantry and chucked the gross moldy bread lol
  14. Packed....that took me awhile too.

So yeah, that was my day....went to bed around 11ish,

So now its Sat. morning and heres the list of crap I still gotta do
  1. Finish packing
  2. Clean my bathroom
  3. Clean the pack
  4. Pack the car
  5. Get my bedding ready (blankets, sheets, etc)
  6. Eat food @ some-point
  7. Buy socks

Oh yeah - and btw for people who don't know....here's the deal for Canada:

Every year, our family does a house exchange. By this I mean, we got to somebody's house and they come to ours. Ya know, people think..."ew, I don't want strangers touching my stuff" but we've never had a problem with any of our exchangers...so yeah anyways. So our idea @ first was to go to Canada for a exchange and then we found this wondferul camp in Canada called Grison farm. Its a vet-education camp as well as an eventing camp, AND to make it even better, ALL THE HORSES ARE HAFLINGERS!!! FRITZ'S BREED becuase they breed Haflingers up there. So I thought it was gonna be sooooo much fun. Kat - a friend from camp is also coming with me since we seem to share the love for Haflingers in particular. So when we're @ camp, my parents will be staying about 1.5hrs away in Montreal doing they're exchange. SO that is why I have to like clean everything!! Sometimes though, like there are kids that come along to stay in our house, but I think its only a couple - so I believe my room will stay unused....thus no cleaning :-)

So yeah, aight so I hope everybody has a awesome week or so. I'll make sure to take LOADS of pictures, and hopefully I'll learn a lot and not die :-) Anyways, so yeah I'm off to clean  the car!

COMMMENT PLEASE!! SO WHEN I GET BACK I'LL HAVE TONS OF EMAILS :-)
