This Christmas Day
So this is Christmas, and what have I done? nothing... lol... I was up since 4 am... I didn't get to sleep until somewhere around 1-1:30am... I decided to let my parents sleep so I laid awake in my bed for 2 hours thinking... It's funny the things you can think of when you're laying in the dark all alone with nothing but your thoughts... It reminded me of those long walks I used to take this summer, I enjoy being with only my thoughts sometimes... Anyway, I got to thinking about the real meaning of Christmas... Jesus in the manger and all, how God gave the ultimate gift and how we give gifts that not only represent the gift that was given to us on Christmas but also the gifts that the Wisemen gave the baby Jesus... I also had a weirder feeling, hard to explain... every Christmas previous I used to lie awake thinking about what gifts I had, what was under the tree for ME... greedy? yes, I admit... this Christmas I was lying in bed thinking about the gift we got from God, the gifts given to baby Jesus, and then it came into my head about the gifts I had for people... I was actually excited... I usually want to get up and open all my gifts and run off with them and leave my parents to open theirs... this Christmas I got my parents to open theirs first and then my brother... I wanted to see their expressions... I knew that what I had them they all wanted... My mo is collecting The Walton's box sets and I had her season 3, my dad is collecting Abbott and Costello videos and I saw that they had season 1 of their show released so I got him that... then my brother, I had him one of those Roboraptors, a computer game, Hungry Hungry Hippos, a LazyTown DVD, and a couple of stocking type things... they all liked their gifts so I was happy... Anyway, I got to opening my gifts and anyone who comes to see what I got for Christmas are gonna say that I am High School Musical obssesed!
I got the High School Musical DVD, Soundtrack, Karaoke CD, and Novel... I also got Disney Scene It a bunch of clothes, a VERY NICE leather jacket from Le Chateau (so you know that it wasn't cheap... lol) I also got a Teen Titans PS2 game, Death By Degrees PS2 game(which is a game based on Nina Williams from the Tekken series) and The Chronicles Of Narnia PS2 game... I also got a home gym set... so I'll be toned all over...t hat's right, dancing along with the HSM musical dance along will slim me down, singing along with the Karaoke will give me better vocal cords, I'll have STRONG thumbs from playing all those PS2 games and big muscles from my home gym and I'll top it all of by looking good in my leather jacket... So, I was VERy thankful and this year was actually the first year I let my parents know I was thankful... I know that previous years they knew I was thankful but I made sure to tell them this year!
Anyway, Christmas usually is a time for thinking, and I did a lot of it and so here's my indepth revelation, if you wanna call it that, I'm not sure that's what it would be called though... lol... anyway... I should be off, excited that Christmas as come and I'm glad that this year I actually stopped to remember the real reason! thank You Lord for sending your Son, if it wasn't for Him I wouldn't be where I am to day, I am forever thankful!
