F the Future
I would do a lot of things just to find out what the future beholds...just think, if I could look a month a head, I would know what was on all of my finals...and I had a lot more ideas but I forgot them. Finals are not why I want to see in the future. Obviously, I want to know about things like jobs, girls and hapiness. Waiting and trusting it will all work out makes me so restless...
So this week we officially sent in the pledge form for Kappa Sigma. Every time we have a meeting it makes me so happy. People assume that most people join fraternities for drinking and sex...however those people could not have possibly have ever been in a fraternity (or a soririty if they were female of course)...What people don't understand that is if groups of college kids wanted to throw ragers, having a fraternity only makes that harder. If you have a fraternity, you can't have kegs, you can't have parties without the police knowing about it, you have to keep your image clean within the community, etc...people don't join fraternities just to drink...and if they do, that's not the reason they spend money and time to stay in them...
I'm hopeful for the future of Kappa Sigma. I think we can and will change greek life at Tufts. It sucks that we won't be around to enjoy the glory years, but hopefully our work will benefit future Jumbos...
So I got home last night and had a goodnight hanging out with my boys...I missed my musician girlfriend who was off performing...but I got to see her tonight. I can't wait for a great week, with my friends and my girlfriend...and some
