So it's been a little bit since I posted...I was busy ok?
Last week was a great week. I had tons of work, but I got it all done and I was happy with my work. Whether I'll be happy with the results is a separate story, but I don't really care what my professors think, or in some cases what some Fletcher student thinks.
Tuesday night will probably remain as one of the craziest nights of my life for a while. Some shit went down and that's about all I have to say about that. I couldn't have hoped for a better outcome than what occurred.
It's less than two weeks until I go home for Thanksgiving. This semester has flown by, but it has been really enjoyable. The frequent trips home have been great. While I get a lot of crap from people here, going other places for a whole weekend is the best way for me to stand this place. Me and Tufts have come to terms with our relationship even if it doesn't make my friends happy.
Sometimes I feel like the whole internal debate of whether I should transfer or not is too much of a load on my back. But usually then I put things into perspective and realize that I have a lot going for me. It's not going to hurt me to stay here, so there's no reason to leave. That's the thought process that leaves me sitting unhappily in my room on Saturday nights...but those nights are important to my songwriting. haha.
I've found life gets about ten times more complicated when you start living on your own. The effects are not always pleasant but the results are fascinating.
I love my girlfriend and she makes me homesick sometimes.
