The children and I are all home today. This morning three parcels were delivered! One for each one of us! So there are three very happy people here today.

I get to drive m'boy to the gathering point where they fall in and the army will bus them to camp. I think I know how to get there, but I'm not sure if I know where to turn off to get home ( Read more... )

M'boy went to basic military training this morning. It's compulsory for Singapore males to serve in the defence force when they reach the age of 18yrs, unless they are still in school in which then they will enter after graduation. It will be for 13 weeks. Then he will be posted to somewhere in the army, perhaps navy or police till he has completed ( Read more... )
