Depressing
Holy shit, taking a passport picture is probably the best way to make yourself feel depressed. I just got one taken at CVS (because I am going to visit Nick in China April 3rd!!!... and need one for my visa). Ever since I came home with the photo I have been trying to rationalize the photo to myself. "The white background washes me out." , "I wasn't ready for him to take the photo.", "The guy must have secretly photo shopped me to look worse." When I came home I immediately got my camera and took a picture of myself to compare, just to make sure that I don't actually look that bad. The comparison photos came out alright, but this whole ordeal has left me feeling self-conscious and gross.
So. The point is, passport photos are awful.
