Remembered WhatI Wanted to Ask
In my weekly update, I said that I thought I had something to ask but couldn’t remember what it was. Well, I was just painfully reminded. I’m having some intermittent, but very unpleasant, cervical pain. It feels like the baby is trying to punch her way through my cervix and make her escape. Is this just a sign of her dropping into position for birth, or is it something I should call my midwife about? If it matters, there doesn’t seem to be any particular pattern to the pain, like, it doesn’t just happen if I’m up on my feet, or when she’s especially active, it’s just sort of random.
