Dad's coming into town tomorrow, and clean apartment is clean! It's not spotless, but it's fairly tidy (except for on the far side of my bed. Which is up near a wall. And you can only see if you actively go look.

So. I've technically "owned" my apartment since the middle of April, but I didn't move in until the middle of May ( Read more... )

So, L&T is going out of business. I went over there today to pick up a Mortar & Pestle, and a Pepper grinder. While I did not find an acceptable piece of either, I did pick up a couple of new cooking knives, a new 12" skillet (non-anodized, but regular stainless, calphalon), and a rug for my front room.

I love getting 30% off. :D

...I don't have a functional shower. I have no water pressure.
