...hopefully.
I've fallen behind in my UI class, and I need to catch up. I've done that somewhat, but I just can't find the motivation to do it. I'm a little behind in Fundamentals of Logic as well, but that's easy to do. Just gotta sit down and do chapter's 6 and 7 problems. Not too terrible.
English started last Tuesday, and after this week, I'll be 1/4 of the way through the class. This night class affords me time to go over to moms and work on this project she's contracted me to do for Union Station. It won't pay much, but it's a nice thing to have under my belt. I'm having to take a crash course in PHP for this, though, so I'm thinking of going to buy a book at BnN. Sometimes it's just easier to have a paper copy of something in front of you than looking at it online.
Let's See...AI is going well, though I'm totally lost on my current assignment. I'm going to shoot him an e-mail tonight, since we didn't have class yesterday, and bombard him with questions. He's gonna Looooooooove that, lemme tell ya.
My biggest fear is that I didn't pass the DANTES test I took to get out of my CS elective course. If I didn't, I'll either take it again or take a class over the summer, pay $50 more for graduation and graduate as soon as humanly possible.
I've been doing well about not playing WOW very much lately, but instead of doing homework with my free time, I've been cleaning (the lesser of two evils, I guess). The apartment is coming along fantastically! We got the new bed frame on Sunday, and I've got a photo
here. Also, in preperation for getting this new piece of furnature, we spent two days doing laundry and cleaning. Our closet now looks like
this. I've previously posted about the new shelves in the bathroom (
One and
Two).
We've also managed to get a lot of the trash boxes out of the way and unpacked from next to the kitchen, where the cat-tree is. I've also moved the antique table to near the front door for use of putting stuff on. If we ever decide to put a fire in the fireplace, that will have to move.
Our biggest obsticle is staying on top of the dishes. Neither of us enjoy the task of doing dishes, so we tend to..."ignore" it. Yeah. Not a good thing. But the arrangement of everything on the counter is becoming a bit more organized, or at least will once we get the dishes cleaned up.
I love this new Dr. Who tv show! I just love it! I've posted about this before too, but goddamn! It definately takes away the frustration of no new SG1/SGA until June, and no BSG until October. TEH SECKS! I always enjoyed the old show, though I never watched it much, and I really had to be in the mood for it (Exhausted and laughed out after watching Red Dwarf is not the way to watch the old Doctor). I avidly await every Friday to see the new episodes. *squee*
Anyway, that's all for now!
