Still excited...
Last night was awesome! I actually got to go to a concert and not work...just enjoy myself!
JP, Brodie, Jess, Candi and I all met at Bandidos for dinner beforehand and then trekked over to The Cat's Cradle to see Stellastarr*. This group is one that JP introduced us to a while back and we were all really surprised when I saw them on the schedule!
We missed the first group, but came in when The Editors were playing and they were really good! They are from Buckingham, UK and oddly enough, sound really similar to Stellastarr*. They were pretty cool and got me revved up and ready for the main act.
From the moment that they started playing until the end, I was really having SUCH a great time! I sang, danced, clapped and just felt like I was a part of something big. The show was really an awesome performance and I enjoyed every minute of it.
Afterwards, JP wanted to meet them, so we hung out and I even got to meet Shawn, the lead singer. Surprisingly, I found him cute even though I was crushing on the guitar player's style since he reminded me of my Justin from Ingram Hill. He was really cute though...it was awesome.
Then we talked with the little cutie drummer Arthur. He was really nice and talked to all of us for quite a bit. Amanda, the bass player, talked to us as if she lived around here and were one of us. For a little while there, she was talking away to me before I realized who she was...HAHAH! I spoke briefly with Michael the guitarist and off we were.
In the parking lot, JP was so cute, proudly displaying his t-shirt that all of the band members had signed. He is just the cutest and I am glad that he really had fun because I know that I sure did! I wish that they were coming back soon, but I'll be keeping my eye out now for sure! If they come to your area, try and go check them out...you will have fun!!!!!
