Endure 4 Kindness!
Hello lovelies!!! As most of you know, Random Acts is very near and dear to my heart! Next month, we are holding our event, Endure 4 Kindness -- an endurance event!!
While most people are amazingly athletic and are running or dancing or biking...let's face it...I wouldn't endure for long doing any of those activities. However, around this time last year I started teaching myself to crochet. Being left-handed, this can be a rather tricky undertaking, but over the year, I created several things that I was not only proud of, but was able to share!! : ) I made hats for the homeless, numerous gypsy scarves that I only only wear on a regular basis, but have also made quite a few for friends, co-workers, and even a few students!! Kerchiefs, sachets, etc.
So, I thought for E4K I would try my hand and a big project. Something that I would normally just piece at here and there and would probably take ages to finish. However, if I had dedicated time to work on it, I could really feel accomplished at it!! So...being the nerd that I am, I decided: if I am going to be crocheting all day, why not make it even more enjoyable?? My challenge is to crochet through the entire extended edition trilogy of the Lord of the Rings movie and ask people to pledge to me by the hour!
Crazy? Maybe! But, it's the perfect time of year to watch the movies AND to do something crafty!! So, I'm up for the challenge!! Here is a link to my pledge page:

Thanks in advance for those of you who wish to help me out and support me in my endurance event! I will do my best to provide pictures and keep everyone posted on the day of, so you'll know how it's going!!
