Hey there guys and gals!
First off, I had a really great weekend. Thanks to mustangcandi for teaching me the beauty of Sudoku. I had never really had it explained to me before and so I just stared blankly at them. LOL Now...I am officially addicted.
Also...so far so good on the "taking care of myself" front. As of this morning, I've lost 3.5lbs so far. : )
Last week, I successfully got a website up and running and pretty much finished, as far as what was asked of me and I am proud as heck about that. If you feel so inclined, you can check it out in my portfolio at Sapphire Stardust. I had a couple more in there before, but the people let their domains expire and therefore...they had to be removed.
On the job front...no, I haven't heard back about a second interview. I called today and check in and in a very rushed conversation was told that the executive director had already called a few people in and as of yet my name was not on the list.
Honestly I'm not sure what to make of it. I didn't really have time to react or ask questions before I was just holding the phone and the conversation was over. In the meanwhile, last week I got a letter from the US Dept of Agriculture saying they had received my application, but it could be six months before I hear anything. Either way...it's back to the drawing board. I am job searching right now...just took a chance to post before I forgot.
In other news, my granny was in the hospital, but she's going home today. I called and "had lunch with her" yesterday and today. It was nice talking to her. : )
Well...I am off...daylight's burning, but I'll talk to you guys soon! *huggles
