Today
It was a busy day for me today at Klecka Naturals and it felt good. I've been doing a lot more on the administrative side, as Richard wanted me to do a lot of internet marketing for him. That's fine and all, but I really love making product. I love the feeling of accomplishment when I am done.
Today I decided to focus on massage oils and I ended up making 15 cases before the day was up. I went through 3 buckets of oil and this is going to show my age, but at one point, I ran out of the "Love Essential Blend" and sang, "I'm all out of love...I'm so lost without you" -- anyone know that one? lol Richard didn't even know that...it's always sad to me when a good moment like that is lost. LOL
Tomorrow I start a private transcription job for someone I worked with at Town Hall. I am thinking that it's going to be interesting once I get started. It's just that initial feeling of nervousness and awkwardness because she wants me to do it at her house. lol
I applied for two more jobs this evening in Athens. I applied for quite a few at the University of Georgia and a couple of other places the night we got home too. So...hopefully something will come of that. My Office Team position transfers if all else fails, it's just not going to be easy for them to place me somewhere in Athens, according to them.
One good thing about today is that even though it was dreary for a good portion of the day, the sun did finally come out for a while and I enjoyed it to the utmost. On my way back and forth to the garage with my finished product/empty bottles, I longed to just sit outside for a few moments on the bench and take in the breeze. But alas, there was work to be done.
