Today
Well, the first day back to the grind wasn't so bad. Then again, I didn't have to deal with customers. Sometimes dealing all day with team members can be just as annoying, but the office stayed crowded most of the day with me shoved in the corner at my little desk and I just tried to keep my back to most of it. haha
I did get to spend more time with Yah-I than I have in a long time and so that was fun. We didn't get to talk as much as I would have hoped...but at least it was time to laugh and joke around between tasks.
I got a lot accomplished today and that always feels good. Tomorrow it's full on cashiering and I normally like this shift, so hopefully it will be a good one. : )
Then tomorrow night is the much needed trip to the grocery store. Then Sunday is work in the cafe and we are going to see The Transformers with Dave and that, my friends, ends my time off from school.
I was hoping to finish this other book before my classes start, but you know what? Candi and I hung out this evening and watched a bunch of Numb3rs episodes and laughed and drooled and it was amazing. I loved every minute of it. We're going to take a walk here in a bit and that's going to be awesome too because the night sounds are so prominent this evening.
I'm trying to soak it all in...to take this with me. Maybe if I absorb enough good energy going in, that will give me the push I need to keep me motivated and help keep me from stressing so much. LOL
