One down...
Well folks...I made it. My first set of classes is officially over. No, I don't know how I did just yet and won't for at least another week, but I can say that I thoroughly enjoyed my Web Design class! I could have done without the drama towards the end...but up until then I really enjoyed it.
As for online speech...well...it's a speech class and even though I didn't have to speak in front of people...I am glad it's over!!
Next up??
I have advanced web application and it looks like it's going to be a doozy. The first week looks overwhelming and I am hoping that once I find my routine, I'll be able to stay caught up.
My other class is Critical Thinking. In this class we are required to do a team project, which doesn't seem so bad and also we get to take these evaluation quizzes in the beginning and to be honest...I really like doing those. haha. I think it will also be something good to report back to Jeff with.
SHIZA! Speaking of which...I still have stuff to do for him this week that I haven't even thought about. Aye karumba. It's going to be good though...it really is. : )
In other news, it's almost time to do my job dialogue for work and oddly enough, I am looking forward to it. I am much more vocal than I have been before and I will be able to write things about myself this time...I can feel it. It's going to be great!! WOOT! I am also not afraid to speak up during the job dialogue...so I am going to let JD know what I think needs improved and all of that jazz.
In other news I finally finished up Season 2 of SG-1 and watched Jet Li's Unleashed. Both were excellent!! I think that my next dinner project (that's when I take a break and watch tv) I'll finish up Sinclair's movies and start delving into Star Trek Enterprise!!! We'll see...I might not have time to visit my tv again for a few weeks like before when I started new classes.
I've also started reading "Warped Factors," Walter Koenig's autobiography. Boy...I thought I had problems with self-esteem and anxiety issues...I ain't got nothin' on this poor fella! *hugs him
Maybe reading this is going to help me to look in the right direction for my own confidence exercises that I've been working on! Who knows??
What else? Oh...I've become unashamedly addicted to a band called Campbell. I started out listening to solo stuff by the lead singer, Matthew Padgett, but then I went back to the group page and well...I haven't been able to stop listening to them. It's just what I wanted to hear right now. I want their EP, but apparently you have to go to a show to get them. *cries
Nate from Mercy Mercedes emailed me this week to find out if I was coming to a show that they did this past weekend and was all excited because I'd posted a bulletin about their show. He said, "Are you coming??? We hope so! We miss our Tina!" AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!! Bless their little hearts!!
Ok...I think I've rambled on long enough. You guys are probably wondering who the heck I am or who's taken over my body that there's a post this big that has actual thoughts in it...hahaha
