Update on VMars from E! Online...
Woe is the day. (On the plus side in TV-land, I enjoyed last night's episode of LOST, possibly because it was about my favorite hobbit-turned-bloody-rock-god, for once. But...VMars! Nooo!)
Breaking (and Tragic): Veronica Mars "Out of Hope"
It looks like Veronica Mars may indeed be gone for good.
At a CW press conference, Dawn Ostroff told reporters that Veronica as we know it is over, but that she is talking to Rob Thomas and Kristen Bell about a "future project."
I just checked in with Rob Thomas, who tells me: "I haven't heard about a future project yet, but I suppose I'd listen. Would love to work with Kristen again, however."
When I ask point-blank if VM is over, Rob tells me: "I believe we're out of hope."
I am...stunned. I know we should have seen this coming, but honestly, after seeing the shows the CW is bringing on next season (Farmer dating show? Beauty pageant?) I'm honestly sick to my stomach.
