costume success!
So I got all of the costuming done the Saturday night before the shoot on Sunday, so I actually got a good night sleep! All of saturday I was wrestling with this leather trenchcoat, altering, adding, ... and saying to myself, they better like this because this thing is a bitch! And they loved it! they went on and on about how great the costumes looked and made me feel very appreciated! I don't know if the pictures are up yet on the site but as soon as they are, I will post a link. And yes patchworkgirl I did take a bunch of pictures just to make you proud! The deal with the costumes and the comic book mesh is that instead of using artwork, they are taking actual photos of people in costume and then will be working computer magic on them. Then yesterday, my boss and I were attending a fashion show just a few blocks away from where we work and I ran into Bret, an old friend of mine from high school. The same Bret that I ran into at Celebration in Indianapolis two years ago. Small world! So we chatted for a few minutes and that was pretty fun! But it made me take stock at what I am doing down here and all the changes I've made and it made me realize how happy I am at my job and costuming hobbies that I still get to use. So good times!
