Weee!! It's almost time for NaNoWriMo again! For those of you not yet inducted, it's National Novel Writing Month and it takes place in November.
NaNo is a balls-to-the-wall writing frenzy that favors quantity over quality. You write a 50,000 word novella (or novel) in 30 days. I did it last year and almost kilt myself, but it was worth it.

If any of you join up, let me know! You can sign up to see the Philly region lounge, we do meetups and mutual inspiration, even set up writing buddies to keep your butt motivated and help with plot problems, character stuff, etc.
You don't have to be a great writer...you just have to churn out the novel :) I aim to do it every year just to have some kind of writing portfolio in my hectic schedule.
