01. Go to Wikipedia and click the “random article” button.
The first name to appear will be the band’s name.
02. Go to “Random quotations” or click http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3
The last 4 or 5 words of the last quotation will be the album’s title
03. Go to Flickr and click “explore the last seven days” or click http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days
Pick the third photo, no matter what it is, as the cover.
04. Open Photoshop or whichever graphics software you have and create the album.
(Size the new document as a square… just like the old vinyls were!)
05. Use the first font on your computer beginning with the first letter of your name.
06. Post your final work on LJ with these instructions and tag other people.
07. Don’t cheat!

Juliet Burke & Edmund Burke




Edmund Burke was an Irish philosopher who served for many years in the British House of Commons as a member of the Whig party. He is mainly remembered for his opposition to the French Revolution.
Fun facts: Juliet’s maiden name is Carlson. Her husband’s name was Edmund Burke.

Danielle Rousseau & Jean-Jacques Rousseau




Jean-Jacques Rousseau was an Enlightenment philosopher, whose political theories influenced the French Revolution and the development of modern political and educational thought.
Fun facts: Rousseau sent his children to a foundling hospital.
When Rousseau became celebrated as a theorist of education, his abandonment of his children was used by his critics as the basis for ironical attacks.
Danielle Rousseau arrived on the island while she was seven months pregnant. Her daughter Alex was taken from her by The Others. She had been trying desperately to find her for sixteen years.

Desmond Hume & David Hume




David Hume was a Scottish philosopher. He is often grouped with John Locke, George Berkeley and a handful of others as a British Empiricist.
Fun facts: Desmond and David Hume are both Scottish

(N.B. Daniel Faraday was named after the well-known physician. I wanted to include him in this meme by changing the name into “Lost Meets History” but I wasn’t really sure about it. )
