Gosh dangit I was hoping to have a job right now so I could buy The Oncoming Pretty the Doctor Who TV movie in all its terribleness and prettiness and so I don't have to watch Paul McGann in crappy YouTube quality.
I haven't seen it properly yet and I am already mourning THE APPARENT LOSS OF THE VICTORIAN MAN-TART OUTFIT. LOOK, IF EIGHT'S NOT GONNA USE IT, CAN WILL USE IT? I THINK IT'S TIME WE SAY 'FUCK IT" WHEN IT COMES TO GIVING HIM MODERN CLOTHES, IT'S JUST NOT HAPPENING. (I wonder if people realise how much of just "Legacy" alone is a sly reference/tribute to something. Just like how Charles was named after Charlie Barkin, his dark eyebrows, once implemented on the drawn character, looked rather Troughton-ish and I JUST DECIDED TO RUN WITH IT, I MEAN HE'S A DIRTY OLD MAN GRYPH, ANYWAY, IT WORKS, Lillian has fingers like Bender, blue "irises" and "highbeams" like J5, Dakota's Fourth Doctor scarf was made canon, the pouches Lillian and Dakota often wear around their necks to carry stuff SINCE THEY DON'T HAVE POCKETS is lifted from the pouches the gryphons in Mercedes Lackey's writings wear, and oh my gosh the writings, especially my NaNoWriMo stuff is FULL of references that were inserted to fill in gaps in the universe on the fly.)
(I think not only good artists, but good writers steal. But then again that would imply I'm a good writer. >.>;; )
Actually I'm more mourning the loss of the hair EVEN IF IT IS A WIG I'M SORRY I JUST HAVE A THING FOR LONG VICTORIAN MAN-LOCKS, OKAY? AS IF IT ISN'T OBVIOUS.
