Shitty day.
First things first, I've been bounced back to a free account (forgot to update my cc info when my card expired), so I lost most of my icons today. Boo.
Now, on to the rest of the reasons why today has been crappy. When Matt works nights we see each other for maybe a half hour, tops. (That's total for the whole day). Do you know what we spent that half hour doing today? Head out of the gutter, we were fighting. We weren't even fighting over anything important, it was just pointless bitching at each other that blew up. So that was a fantastic start to my morning.
Then at work today we found out that one of my favourite clients, Sadie the Newfie, was put to sleep today. She's been having joint troubles lately, which they have attributing to her being a 7 year old overweight Newfie. They took her to the vet today for x-rays and she never made it out of the appointment. She was ridden with cancer. Sadie has been a favourite of mine since I started here. I also did a few months of dog-walking for her a few years ago, and she's got a particular fond spot in my heart. I cried when I had to break the news to our groomer. Heartbreaking. It's like losing one of my own :(
RIP Sadie, you were so loved and will be sorely missed.
