Saturday I went shoppping. It started out really bad because I was frustrated since I could not find what I wanted, but when I went into Old Navy, I got happy. lol I like few kinds of clothing companies, and Old Navy is one of them. Anyhoo, I went into K-Mart (don't knock it til you try it!!!), hesitant, because I do not shop in places like that. As much as I like to look good and such, there was something in me that was nervous about going in there, but I didn't care anymore. Who CARES if anyone sees me in K-Mart, Walmart, Marshall's or any store like that?! They aren't buying my clothes.
Well, I bought a few things, including this really hot hat that I wore yesterday with this hot outfit I wore. My friend met me and we chilled for a while in Popeye's until we took the bus home.
Yesterday, I went to my job orientation at the headquarters in Brooklyn and met like 86 million people who work for Oasis. I also specifically met my co-workers at my site in Harlem. They seem like an alright group of people, but we shall see. What I found out was that I will be working with homeless children and other children in need. I was like, "WHOOOOOOOOAAAAA!!!" when I found out. It's okay to me, but I know I am going to need some serious strength because when it comes to children, especially those in need, I get attached sometimes.
After that, I met up with some friends and eventually we drove back to the Bronx and ate at a diner. It was so fun because we were all talking, laughing and singing. Good times, I tell ya, good times.
I had some weird dreams last night. Anyhoo, I am going to meet up with my friend now. Peace out.
