Pros: As you said, experience, and working on French, helping ze volunteers, and you know, getting to spend more time with people you like in a place you like, presumably.
Possible cons:
-Being in charge of 30 volunteers is a new challenge, and some difficult situations might come up. I don't really know what this job entails, so I don't know what's likely to be problematic. Talk to the previous RR? in any case, get advice on the hard stuff and possible problem-solving tips?
-Being in charge= more bureaucracy. I know you're not always the biggest fan of administrivia (who is?), and you might have to deal with irritating policies, enforce/implement things you disagree with, and/or have to be The Woman (it's like being The Man, only being The Woman, you know?).
-You miss family and friends, family and friends miss you. But we'll all see each other again sooner or later. And it sounds like you're not needing to come home yet, so there you have it.
I say go for it unless any of the things I mention above are likely to bring about great unpleasantness.
