Time to Weigh In. Year Three in Niger?
So darlings, I'm reaching out over the internets to ask your advice on my big decision. I'm pretty sure I want to do this but I can always count on you guys to guide me and help me look at things from angles I didn't think of. So here's the deal.
This week I need to decide if i want to apply for the RR (regional representative) in Zinder. I am one of the most competative candidates for this, so if i applied I'd likely get it. This would be a 3rd year extension for me. I'd move to Zinder in mid May and get started on being the regional boss of 30 some volunteers in the area. It would great leadership experience and I could work on my french in the city more. Plus despite some nervousness i think I could be really great for the helping out the volunteers. I'd get to take home leave, hopefully in July, for a month and then it would be a year here in good ole Niger. I'd likely leave in Aug 08.
