please don't make me cry. please appreciate me and love me. make me smile and laugh. act like i'm important to you. tell me you love me. tell me you miss me. say sweet things to me when you are thinking them. tell me i'm beautiful. make time for me. make me feel like i'm someone special in your life...like you can't imagine being without me. that's how i feel about you, and i make sure you know it. so for god's sake look into my eyes and tell me you love me. don't mutter it as you get off the phone to go drink with your friends. don't say it as you walk away from me. take my hand, lift my chin, look deep into my green eyes and tell me that you love me without even a small desire to look away in the awkwardness of eye contact. then i'll believe you. then i'll stop worrying, and i'll stop fussing about every little thing because i will know that you truly do love me and that i do mean something to you. then i will know i have nothing to worry about.
