Supernatural is, "The story of two brothers whose mother was killed by a demon, and they hit the road to hunt it down." The official tagline goes something like that, anyway, but what it doesn't explain is that these two boys grow up being trained as hunters by their vengeance-obsessed, neglectful father, living out of motel rooms and the '67 Impala. The series starts out rather like Buffy, episodic in the sense of a new monster case each time with a general arc tying it together, building up as the seasons go on. Personally, I think that as a whole they've managed to keep the series together pretty well, not falling into the trend of the seasons getting progressively shittier. The main theme is 'family' and how far people are willing to go for it.

ANYWAY. Uh, there are two communities of which I know that offer download links. I pirate them, myself, using this torrent search engine, so there's that option as well.

...I have some pretty nasty theories concerning the demon that took away their mother and Sam's girlfriend, but don't spoil! I'll get there eventually.
