Ratings
Cover: 7/10
Half a girls head. Nicely done, and it won’t turn
anyone off from reading it. But it doesn’t show much, not even much of the Heroine.

Characters: 10 /10
Rich characters, and a very deep and interesting protagonist. The god especially is very interesting.

Story: 10 /10
Definitely not a “young” book as other books of Pierce has been. Story is interesting, with complex ideas, and mature writing.

Ending: 10/10
Good ending. It sets up for the sequel nicely, and yet still gives some closure to book one. Doesn’t have any suspense to carry into the next book however.

Overall: 10/10
Enjoyable read. There is so much in it, that it can be read a couple times and still be interesting to read. Everything is well done, and polished well.
