this eyeball's on fi-yah
I bought some jalapeno potato chips as a post-lunch snack. Brown Bag was out of the barbeque kind I would normally get, so I thought, hey, how hot can these chips WITH A WARNING ON THE BACK and THE WORD "REVENGE" in the title actually be? Well... after the initial crunch of the first mouthful, my eyes starting watering, my nose started running, and I let loose with a series of very unladylike snorts and hacks. I happened to be on the phone with Brian at the time, and he was like, "What ARE you doing over there?" And thennnn... a particle of jalapeno chip somehow landed on my left eyeball. The agony. I had to drop the phone and run to the bathroom, take my contact out and flap my arms a bunch -- I don't know why I do that when I'm in pain I can't control, but there it is.
I seem to be slightly better after flushing my eye out with water, but I'm holding off on putting my contact back in.
Never again, Mama Zuma's Revenge. Never again.
Update: I tried putting my contact back in. Then the burning began anew. Guess I'll just have no depth perception until I get home from work!
