The Corpse Bride

I just saw the most sweetest animation movie (since I booked it on Foxtel). (Tim Burton's) Corpse Bride is so sweet, funny and it can really entertain anyone. I sat down with my dad, and we watched it. I couldn't believe Johnny Depp was Victor (as a voice) and I loved the story. Although I am one against musicals, this one was sweet. Personally, I was wondering if Johnny was going to sing ... well, honestly, don't expect it. He doesn't.

It's a grey quality, this means the colour was not bright and is grey, which suits it. A life in the "dead world" and one in the "living world", the two seem as equally depressing as it may seem, although the "dead world" seems much more fun, since skeletons and dead people welcome new arrivals in a nice fashion.

The only thing that confused me was the Lord Barkis and Emily's history. Was he meant to elope with her, or did he kill her (like in the skeleton's explanation song where a shadow of a man engulfs the shadow of the supposed Emily), but I think it was the first; he left her for dead. Then the bastard died. The dead went after him. Ha ha, die pig man.

Emily (the Corpse Bride) is clearly my favourite, I personally like her with Victor because she brought out this confidence in him, and she really did deserve a happy ending. She's more prettier than Victoria (and Victor and Victoria have similar names. His name is in her name.) Emily seemed more different than Victoria (who, thankfully, is a pretty young soul who isn't as stupid as her big chined and round parents).

It really was a beautiful movie, and it has humour and romance in it. So cute! Although, I'm more of a Emily-and-Victor fan (since he sort of gave up hope with Victoria after hearing she was to be wedded to some other "gentleman caller" and he was willing to drink the poison - which Lord Barkis, the stupid oaf, drank - to be with her.). He helped Emily move on, and it was really sweet.

And plus, Emily was blue and her wedding dress (and just her appearance) was gorgeous!
