so...
so it's been a really long time since i've written anything - i'm not quite sure how long this is gonna end up being, but i'll just write until i think i've hit most of the key points
i went to warped tour w/ tj -- that was amazingly awesome... i had so much fun... heck, i actually participated in the pits! who would have thought? me? ha ha ha, it was probably painfully funny to see me attempt to stay up! the tough thing was i had to be drug tested the next day for my new job (i now work at a doctor's office... it's really nice... very pretty cars...) and the testing wouldn't have scared me if i hadn't been surrounded by pot at warped, but i haven't heard anything really so i guess i passed! (which taking the test was the true feat... i had like 7 minutes to be DONE peeing... for all of those who know me and how freakishly pee shy i am... this was not good... someone stood outside the door to listen and there was no running water and i had to go in a cup! it was simply a bad situation...)
let's see... i found out what's wrong w/ my back.. i have a herniated disk, which SUCKS and that means that i have to have a cortizone shot every week for three weeks into my spine... yuck... i had the first one on wednesday: it took them 3 attempts for my iv... which made me VERY not happy, i almost passed out, and now i look like a heroin addict from the bruising.. yay rah... then i was mean to nurses coming out of sedation (But according to my mom, they weren't so sweet to me either, so it was kinda equal) then i came home and my liz came over, brought me shrek cookies, and three movies, I LOVE YOU, LIZ!!! YOU'RE AMAZING!!! and then jordan came over to see how i was doing, which i greatly appreciated - he played games on my comp while liz and i watched a bad movie... (not bad as in quality... but dang, lots of nakedness! EEK!!) oh yeah! i have my new computer, it makes me happy!
let's see, chilled in a parking garage and saw the village, while some people may have hated it (tim ebert... sorry!) i actually really liked it... it wasn't at all what i was expecting, but it was really entertaining, and the guy in the theatre cracked me up... it's fun to be around weird people in a packed movie
i went to the fair to play hick, watched some races and then the demolition derby, it was fantastic, had some very scary guys behind us, but it was still fun... ginger and i played euchre against blair and brandon, i enjoyed it, and blair and i made up a version of 2-handed euchre while the boys got food... it was... ummm... interesting? lol
then i left to go to matt mishler's lake cottage w/ a bunch of chesterton people... it was really really fun... i think that the greatest moment, however, was ebert trying to do a "booty-drop"... priceless... truly priceless... i played euchre w/ emily, who DOES NOT know how to play very well (i still love her nonetheless, but wow, it was painful at times, lol)... went tubing and fell off, a couple times... managed to get a bruise on my chin (oh yeah... it's hott, let me tell you!) and then i had to leave to get home and celebrate some family birthdays
tonight i chilled w/ brandon and layne, it was nice and relaxing... and now i'm here! and i have to be at work by 8 tomorrow... ugh... i now work 8-4 in nappanee, if you're out there (as if anyone ever is!) feel free to bring me lunch! lol
so, i want to meet a boy, fall in love, have him love me just as much, get married, and move to colorado... now... i'm so sick of being alone, unwanted, and overlooked...
