So I got a call this morning saying that my computer was finally back and fixed. About bloody time. I don't know yet if some of the issues have actually been fixed yet, as they only occurred sporadically, and only when putting it to sleep/waking it up. One of the issues, though, is definitely fixed: the trackpad now responds appropriately when I've got my hands resting on the front corner panels, rather than reading that pressure as incident upon the trackpad.
However, by making that less sensitive, they've also made the button less sensitive, and if I hit it too far off to the side, it doesn't register. Not that big a deal. The other thing that really pisses me off is that my stickers are gone. They replaced the entire panel surrounding the keyboard, which means that the "Just a pirate chasing booty" and "Skeptical Inquirer- I Doubt It" stickers that I'd put on there are gone.
And then there's the whole thing about how they had to wait an entire week for a part that bloody well should have been on hand.
