So this might be one of my crazier ideas, but I figured I'd regret it if I missed it.
I found tickets on the Virginia Railway Express (VRE) up to Union Station on Inauguration Day. So, you know what that means, folks!
I'll be attending the Inauguration!
I'm so very excited! I had been wavering on the decision for months, but I'm glad I'm going. I pray that everything goes smoothly, and it's not a miserable time! I'll be with going with a guy I've been seeing for a little while now, so at least I'll have someone to help keep me warm and no matter what, it'll be nice to spend the day with him! :)
The assigned train leaves at 6:15 a.m. on Tuesday and then leaves Union Station back to Fredericksburg at 6 p.m. I should be back in Fred by 7:30! I honestly think this is the best way to go!
Any suggestions on keeping warm?
