I can remember loathing those who once chided me for complaining about it being below 60 degrees. Now I fear as if when I come home in April I'll be one of those annoying people saying "You pansies don't know what COLD is! Have you ever been unable to speak because all the muscles in your face were frozen?! Well I have, and it's not pretty.". Just in case I do say something of that nature, I give you lot permission to punch me good and hard.
It was supposed to snow today but no such luck. It's just very windy and chilly. I heard it was raining and windy in Santa Barbara yesterday so at least I can say (just this once) that the weather in Canterbury is just a bit more pleasant than in Santa Barbara. We have no rain, you see. Actually we're experiencing a drought in England right now. Apparently the weather hasn't been this dry for a long time. It's funny because everyone (including myself) thought I'd be just drenched in a nonstop barrage of wetness but actually the number of days it has rained since I've been here is easily less than 15.
I saw Alison and Neil yesterday for the first time in a couple weeks. They were freshly tanned from their weekend trip to Egypt. They said it was just amazing and all Alison kept repeating was "You have to go". So, I guess that's it. I have to go. Maybe it'll be one of the trips I take once exams are over. I'll add it to my list.
Cheers.
