MURCY
Sup peeps. Sorry for the lack of updates. I've been busy working and sleeping. Not a whole lot other than that, except going out and getting fitted for my tux for Steve's wedding. Which I will get into shortly...
Work hasn't been that bad. I actually enjoy it. Frying kills most of the time, but I'm sure I'll pick up the pace as time goes on. The icing is what I don't care for. I don't mind it, but I prefer frying. I've worked from Saturday until today, from 3am-9am, due to training. I should be getting a good paycheck this week, I figure, after taxes and weekly union fees, between $130 and $160. Not bad for a part-time job. I don't work again until Thursday, and I start working my usual shift of Midnight-6am on Friday.
On Saturday, Steve, Mike, Kelvin, Lande and I went to go get fitted for our tuxes. It was kind of a pain in the ass, since we went at 2pm and I was already up for more than 12 hours at that time. Not to mention we didn't actually get fitted, seeing as the places we went wouldn't take allow us to get fitted without a reservation. So we went to Shinders and TGI Fridays instead. We were dumbfounded at Friday's, cause there was a weird party there of a bunch of teens in business suits. I was so confortable wrapped up in my jacket on the way home.
Sunday, we went out to attempt getting fitted again. It actually worked this time. And, luckily for me, we went at noon. On the way there, we saw this one guy driving with a licence plate that read "Buzzy B". So we got into discussing his questionable sexuality, which was hilarious. It must have been "Wear Personalized Plates Day", cause when we got to the mall, we saw quite a few more. So we took a few of those licence plate names to add new characters to our multiple personalities. I'm "MURCY", Mike is "FORCER", Lande is "VAN DUCE", Kelvin is "BUZZY B", and Steve is "I LV DAWN". We're trying to come up with their personalities still. BUZZY B and FORCER haves ones, but we couldn't come up with others. We got fitted, and we started discussing what to do for the reception and afterwards. Sounds like we're getting a hotel room for the groomsmen, and having a party there. Any ladies interested in coming and seeing a bunch of studs in tuxes, complete with canes and fedoras, leave me a note on my diary.
But I'm gonna check out some things on the internet, then get started on dinner. Check y'all on the flipp side!
