Dough Boy
Just thought I'd write a quick diary entry before I gotta get ready to go.
I'm Cub Foods newest bakery fryer. I'll be strictly frying and icing doughnuts for $8.85 an hour, working from Midnight-6am. Dunno what days I'll be working, I'll be finding that out at orientation today. And I'll be getting paid to sit and watch safety videos today as well. I went in for an interview for either a bakery fryer job, or a deli clerk job. What was cool was that after I filled out some things and took a few tests, they gave me a tour of the deli and the bakery, and I saw my friend Andy Rath there and he was applying for the jobs as well.
It was really weird, on Monday I got a call to set up an interview. So yesterday, I went in for the interview at 8am, and got home at like 10am. Then about half an hour after I got home, I got a call from Angelique (the person who inteviewed me) offering me the job and telling me about orientation. But what was really weird, like two minutes before I got the call on Monday, I was thinking about going out and getting more applications cause I didn't think that I'd be getting called.
But I gotta go get ready for orientation, so I'll check y'all on the flipp side.
