Weddings & Parties

Sup peeps. Bare with me on this update, I'm hella tired and have a headache, so it may not be as acticulate as usual. I was really happy to have a nice 3-day break from work. And I was able to hang out with people I miss dearly. I just wish I remembered most of Saturday.

Work has been decent lately. We got our new Store Director and Deli Manager. Marge, the new Deli Manager, is nice, but I miss Diane, the old manager. Diane was a good manager, plus you were able to joke around with her, which always helps. I'm gonna miss her calling me "the rebel" cause of my tattoos and piercings. Marge is still new though, so I'm sure she'll joke around a lot more down the line. Hours are gonna start to decline, it's the slow season. Summer is busy cause of the BBQs, picnics, gatherings, whatever people do. It'll pick up again a little bit by November, at least it did last year. But this week hours picked up cause Emily got a full-time job at the store down in Chaska. I just hope we get some more people, we have so much stuff to do now and it's hard to get through it all, especially when we've tripled what we have to clean and cook every night. We seriously need 4 people at night.

Saturday was a fun day, from what I remember. I was pretty wasted that day. I remember Cassie's wedding, the reception, getting to Guarino's and leaving Guarino's. A few things in between, but the rest is mostly a blur.

Cassie's wedding was very beautiful, which I wouldn't expect anything less. Cassie looked beautiful and Rob looked dapper. I went with Jonathan. We left the wedding after they lit the candle to pick up my brother's camera, then headed back just as they announced them married. We then hung around for a little bit then headed over to the reception. The hall looked really nice, they had the lights dimmed and candles in the center of the tables. Jonathan and I felt a little out of place, since it was mostly family, and most of the friends I knew there were in the wedding party. But the food was great and there was an open bar! But Jonathan wanted to leave early to go see his girlfriend before work, so we left at like 6:30. I felt really bad that we left, since people were just finishing eating. Cassie seemed really down about it. But as a stroke of luck, Guarino was having a party later on, and I found out that the reception was only about 5 minutes away from Guarino's. I was able to get a ride back out to the reception, then I figured I'd either walk to Guarino's or find someone sober to give me a ride out there. When I got back to the reception, everyone was drunk. I hung out there for a little bit, taking full advantage of the open bar. Then I was able to get a ride from Kelvin over to Guarino's.

Naturally, people were also wasted at Guarino's. I recall there being quite a few people over there. I don't really remember a whole lot at Guarino's, but I think I might have made an ass out of myself. I made the mistake of having hard liquor at the reception, and if anyone knows of my experience with partying with the Captain and Mr. Daniels can get a good guess at how wasted I was. So, at Guarino's, I kept having hard liquor. Don't really know how much shots I exactly had, only ones I can remember were one with Schell, one with Lande and Amber, and one with Nate, plus a few beers. I'll include how much I remember having at the end of this update. I remember bits and pieces of things that went on during the night. Like me and Schell both wearing Austin shirts, Demetrius and Sean chain wrestling, Guarino drunk-calling Doyle, and pouring shots out of my flask into the shot glass on my belt buckle. I do remember passing out on a couch though, and waking up and Amber was puking in a garbage on the other couch. Then I remember going home.

Overall, I remember having 5 Captain & Cokes, 3 shots of Jack Daniels, 1 shot of Bacardi O, 2 Millers, 2 Michelobs, 2 Grain Belts, 1 Bud and 1 Heinekien. All only on a stomach consisting of one fajita, some ham and some salad. And, surprisingly, I didn't have much of a hangover. Just a slight headache.

I spent most of my check over two days. I got some new earrings, new shoes and t-shirt, two wrestling magazines, the Adam Copeland book, things for Cassie's present, and two 12-packs of beer for my dad and I.

So that was my weekend. I'm gonna go grab something to eat and watch a movie. Check y'all on the flipp side!
