So it has been a busy few days. This job search thing is most definately a full time job in itself!!
Other than the usual back and forth of applications though, there has been little to report.
My cough is slowly, and finally ebbing away, and this means that I am getting more sleep at last. I went back to Judo last night, and wore my belt on the mat for the 1st time. It was supprising how much more natural this made me on the mat... perhaps because people just let me get on with it, or maybe perhaps because I trained with a higher level of Ukae's. I am still glad that I spent my first two weeks as a white belt though. It showed me the club from an angle Im not used to, and perhaps let me get to know people without the expectations brought by wearing the belt. But as I said. Good to be wearing it again.
In a "great" show of irony, the same night that I start training properly, I picked up a thumb injury, after my thumb got trapped in randori. Basically it got heavily hammered back into its own socket (somthing I have done before on the other side). Im hoping its heavily brused, and nothing more. Either way, its now strapped and coated in ibuprofen gel. Fingers crossed.
