I am feeling better today, actually since last night, because I did three strategies that worked perfectly:

1. double the nurse’s recommended dosage of meds
2. go shopping
3. DIY mani-pedi

It’s so in to be sick lately. Let’s blame centralized air conditioning, y’all.

I have been in heat, no, on fire, since last night. This is the kind of condition that cannot be cured by medication alone. I downed everything necessary, within responsible periods, but rest has been conveniently missing so I’m still very sick.

Crazy, crazy day! I was still sick this morning but I went to work anyway because I only have a three-person team. As soon as my ass touched my seat, there’s my boss asking me to crunch some numbers from the last fiscal year. What a way to start my four-hour work day! I was geared to start the long office grind when I discovered that I forgot my glasses at home. The orange-framed glasses which was bought to simply correct my vision is now a staple in my wretched office existence. My eyes were misty and red by 10 am, dry and redder (ier?) come 3 pm.
