I'll make it true to make it easier on myself.

Went to a goodbye-house party at a friend's with Sparkle.  Since I know she has issues with potlucks, I packed her a meal.  For the most part, Sparkle had a good time, even without other children, because they let her water all the plants on the porch awaiting transport to their new home, filling up a container with the hose, and filling pots one by one.  This took a great deal of time, interest, and energy.  She also loved the broken deep freeze used as a cooler filled with cold water and bags of ice.  She was so happy on the hot, muggy day to reach into the icy water to fish out the pop for people.  As we sat down to eat at 5 PM, Sparkle raised up her head suddenly over her plate of carrot sticks, ham sandwich, and chips.

"What meal is this?" she asked, suspiciously.  I suddenly remembered that Sparkle has issues with what things are eaten at which meal.  A meltdown earlier this month was over serving ham sandwiches for supper, because ham sandwiches were only a LUNCH time food.

"LUNCH!" I chirruped hopefully, smiling with great enthusiasm.

"Good," stated Sparkle.  "Ham sandwiches are a LUNCH time food."

My friend Mitter Dave picked up the theme easily.  "A perfect afternoon for a PICNIC LUNCH!"

So, when we got home later that evening, we had to make a little personal pizza for dinner for Sparkle, because you have to have dinner after you have lunch...and I'm so glad it worked, and Sparkle could eat without freaking.

me, sparkle
