So, a whole year has gone by since I've posted.  But hey it's my birthday again.  trinalin arrived yesterday and elsaf just arrived today.  Yesterday Trina and I saw Hunger Games and went for dim sum this morning.  Tonight we are going to Midsummer Night's Dream followed by dinner on Navy Pier.  Good times.

It's my birthday! Nothing extraordinary is planned. trinalin arrived yesterday to kick things off. elsaf arrives sometime today. We will take things as they come. Time to head to bed.

Today I turned the Big 5-0.  I have no problems telling my age. I'm happy I made it is this far.  ElsaF flew in to help me celebrate.  We just got back from seeing How to Train Your Dragon (thumbs up).  Now she's in the kitchen starting the celebratory feast: roast lamb, asparagus soup, carrots, salad, and for dessert, fruit compote with rice dream ice ( Read more... )

What a month. What a week. After having an absolutely horrible day Tuesday (bosses decided not to make my position permanent), elsaf and trinalin drove in on Thursday afternoon to help celebrate my birthday.
