Overdue update
I've been taking this a little slower than I planned to. I can't only listen to new music.
Radiohead - OK Computer
Radiohead reminds me of Muse, which is a good thing. It's a great album to space out to. The track Fitter Happier didn't make a whole lot of sense, but I guess it didn't really have to.
Death - Symbolic
Death sounds like a lot of metal, which is because the band spawned the death metal genre. I'm not too much of a fan of the genre, but they're a great band to drive to. Their drummer on this album, Gene Hoglan, is also the drummer for Dethklok.
Cannibal Corpse - Evisceration Plague
Absolutely brutal. I love the thick, chunky guitar tone, and the vocals blow my mind. I want to be able to do that. Cannibal Corpse won't be a band I listen to regularly since metal like this is something I have to be in the mood for. The music video for the title track is brutal.
