This is becoming a monthly habit.
The apartment hunt goes poorly. My credit is kinda crap, if only because I don't have alot of it. I never bothered with credit cards except the one forever ago till I paid it off and let it go. My car was paid off in my dad's name, as I wasn't old enough to sign for it when we got it. Beyond that, I've never really bothered to put up much of a credit history for myself except for late payments on silly things. I like how late payments on a utility or something like that can count against you, but paying it on time forever means jack. So anyway, yes we got turned down. I called back and asked why, and that's the explanation they gave me. So that's that, I guess. We picked a notoriously non-selective apartment complex for me to apply at just to see what comes back. Unfortunately, what it looks like is that we may have to get a house because we have no other option. How's that for some fucking irony.
