It's hard to explain right now what happened at work Friday without going into great detail and getting angry. The long and the short of it is that I will not be getting a new work assignment or a new work schedule. Instead of assigning people to the team by ability, our head Union Steward decided she wanted to have the job as well and lobbied to have it all reversed and stuff so it could be assigned by seniority. Thanks to the power of whining (l5r has taught the world well, it seems), our steward has managed to get just what she wants by causing a huge problem in the office and stepping over the aspirations of twenty-one other people.

Kim already let Mike know although I didn't want to bring it up while I had a chance to get there. After today, I know I won't have any chance, but I'm a dreamer I guess. This whole fucking thing has turned by job at SBC from something I don't enjoy but tolerate into something I don't want to fucking deal with for any reason right now.
