Arrhem. So anyway, Charlie's gone. He was here this morning, and now he's not. The room, empty. The desk, a big barren spot where Pikachu once cried out his trade in oral for illegal candy. It's been a pretty strange few months, and I guess he's better off heading back to Columbia. The little barefoot bastard gave it his best, but life just kicked him square in the ass through no fault of his own. Still annoys me, though. Seems completely unfair, not to mention the selfish side of me really liked having him about. Friends are like that, I hear. He decided to head back to Columbia on... tuesday. And now poof. His family doesn't fuck around, I suppose - he just called them this morning and explained everything, and when I got home on my lunch break just before 2pm, the room is empty and everything. It's neat in the really disturbing "Charlie's family is the mafia" sort of way.
Other than that depressing tidbit, the day has gone by well. Went into work late so I could get some of the current assignment handled. Got my next assignment already and it looks like a whole monkeybarrel of fun. Right before work I stopped off to Wal Mart to see if I could pick up another GBA game... lo and behold...

Oh, yes. The gods are kind some days. Other days, they like to poop in your cheerios, but whatever. Kim and I are probably going to go see... buh... a movie... or something tonight. I don't have the frogged ass of an idea of what's showing that's worth seeing now, but I'm sure Kim knows something.
Christ jesus. I just saw a banner for "bowienet". Bowie. Net. That's really strange.
