Sometimes having a conscience sucks.
It is now 6:07 AM by my work computer. I have been in front of this computer since 8:00 PM last night. That's right ladies and gentleman I have just completed an all nighter at work and I'm about 10 minutes shy of being up for 24 hours.
Why, you might ask, did I do this. Simple, because I told my boss, soon not to be boss, that I would have a project done and in production by my last day on Thursday. I knew that I had way to much to finish up and give the client's enough time to properly test the system, so I decided to come in after teaching Karate last night. Because of some deep seeded need to prove my work ethics and business worth I decided to finish the project in one big push, and I did.
I finished my changes about 5:30 and moved them from dev to test and sent out an email to everyone saying as much. I've also started to prep the production db to take the changes once they're approved in test.
And now, I'm going to sit back for the next 30 minutes until my boss comes in and tell her that I'm going to go home and won't be back in today.
