Title: 4pm
Word Count: 109
Sigh.
I sighed for the nth time today since this morning. From my cubicle, I peeked at the clock on the wall on top of the door. It says 10am.
I heaved another sigh. It only had been two hours since I punched in at the bundy clock.
'My day has only just begun.' I muttered to myself.
Another sigh.
It's gonna be another long and boring day.
I looked up at the clock once again. 10:01am.
'What?! Only a minute had passed?!' my eyes went wide.
Why does time seems to move so slow when you're waiting for something important?
Why can't it be 4pm already? Why?!

Title: Home
Word Count: 225
Once the clock strikes 4, I stood up immediately from my desk. I automatically gathered my belongings and threw them inside my bag haphazardly.
I ran to where the bundy clock is and punched out.
"Goodbye, Minna-san!" Without looking at my co-workers, I waved at them as I dashed out of the office excitedly.
Instead of going to the elevators, I turned to the direction of the stairs. Since almost everyone in the building are going home, I'm sure that the elevators will be crowded and will take a while to go down.
'It'll be much faster if I take the stairs.' I decided.
Out of the building, I grabbed a taxi and asked the driver to hurry. Fortunately, the traffic is not too heavy today.
As I reached my destination, there...
Sitting comfortably at one of the benches, so engrossed in reading a book.
A man.
So beautiful.
That oh so beautiful man that I haven't seen for a while...
I slowly approached him. "Uepi..." I called him.
It seemed like time stopped when he looked up at me. His eyes wide and sparkling as he stared back at me.
He stood up and hugged me tenderly.
"I'm home..." he whispered as I welcomed his embrace.
"Yes you are..." I whispered back, a bright smile plastered on my face.
He's definitely home.
With me.
