Big smiles today.  My 2008 employee review went super fantastic.  I'm very pleased with myself.  But I know I have a lot to work on if I'm going to get promoted to a TS1.  I guess I'm going to have to suck it up on these qual reports and spend more time learning the systems side.  Shouldn't be too bad.  I like working with our DER and DER in- ( Read more... )

ok so they announce lay-offs on thursday.  1200 people - 600 directs.  lay-offs of directs wouldn't be until may, i guess this is our 60 day notice.  i wonder what will happen to my program.  i mean, we still have a plane to finish designing and get built.  they're also doing a 5 week furlough for production.  i'm a little jealous i'm not in ( Read more... )
