I GOT A JOB!!!!
I've been a spoiled little girl for like forever and have never had a proper job before.
I HAS ONE NOW *FLAILS*
It's a looooong confusing story involving missed calls, discussion of Gay Rights, feeling nauseous in chemistry and fake!phone call auditions.
Did i mention this was my FIRST JOB INTERVIEW EVER, too?!?!?! *FLAIL* I was neeervoouuuus!!!
BUT! I am no longer unemployed, I will learn the real trials of life (aka the 'going to work' thing...), I WILL BE SO BUSY/HAVE LESS TIME FOR HOMEWORK AND LJ (T_T) and, if I manage to KEEP IT!, I WILL HAVE MORE MONEYZ \O/ and staying in England post-graduation won't be AS unlikely \O/
Facts:
Employer: AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL - offices in Aarhus.
Part time employment: Telemarketing sales women phoner THING. STEALING ALL YOUR MONEY FOR GOOD CAUSES, HUMAN RIGHTS AND GAY PRIDE *nods* Or at least sneakily convincing you to let me steal it *nods again*
Time: Around 7/8 hours a week split over two days Monday-Thurday from 5 to 8.30pm.
Requirement: I must recruit two new members to Amnesty per work night. OMG I DON'T KNOW IF I CAN DO THIS! O_O If I keep being unable to do this I get the boot because they're wasting important money on me. Which is totally fair.
BUT FIRST: Next week, Wednesday: a 2 hour meeting/lecture on what Amnesty's principles are, so I can answer the question "who are you guys?" (or versions thereof) properly. Thursday: 2 hour telemarketing intro 'how-to' thing!
THEN!
PAY: 123 Danish kronor per. hour = 22.2 USD = 16.5 EURO = 14 UK pounds. IF I GET THAT FAR AND DOESN'T FAIL LIKE A TOTAL FAILER.
Anyway: SQUEEEE!!! And wish me luck next week!!!
